Speed-o-mat HT

 

Automatic machine of superior reliability and performance class with a gripper transport system.

Guarantees excellent printing quality, even at very high speeds, reduced energy consumption and reduced noise and lubrication. 

Designed for printing on flat substrates, both rigid and flexible, up to 5 mm thick.

STRUCTURE:

Structure made of long-lasting electro-welded, hardened steel.

 

FEEDING AND DISCHARGE

Feeding may take place via:

·         Manual feeding table

·         Manual feeding table with pre-registration device 

·         Automatic sheet feeder

The discharge of the substrate is carried out directly by the gripper, which delivers the printed material onto a flat chain outfeed conveyor with a rubber roller (paper discharge safety), directly connected to the drying/curing unit and, consequently, to the final stacker.

 

THE REGISTRATION SYSTEM

The substrate is registered by an electronic system composed of three sensors (two front sensors and one side sensor that have the function of pulling/pushing).Upon request, the machine can be fitted with an optical photocell registration system. An automatic "DO NOT PRINT" device prevents printing if the substrate is not registered properly.

 

THE GRIPPERS 

The material is transported by a gripper system mounted on closed loop chains.

The grippers are grooved during the substrate gripping and printing phases. After registration, the substrate is blocked by the gripper and held in place until the end of the printing cycle, ensuring excellent register repeatability.

 


 

 

 

 

 


PRINTING TOP

Stainless steel honey-comb structure equipped with a vacuum device with pre-vacuum and blow (optional) functions.

 

PRINT HEAD AND PRINT BRIDGE:

The print bridge is driven by an electronically-controlled motor;  it moves on sliding couplings along internally designed chrome rods, and guarantees extremely linear movements that are vibration-free at any speed.

It also allows for adjusting the length of the print stroke from 50% to 100% of the max format, maintaining its productivity.  To adjust the length, simply type in the height on the touch screen.

In the“do not  print” position (piece not aligned), the squeegee may stop both at the end stroke if the screen has not been printed or at the end of the return stroke if the screen is blocked, while the rest of the machine continues to operate.  

The pressure of the squeegee and the scraper can be adjusted independently using the side micrometric devices.

Adjusting the inclination of the squeegee allows for the optimisation of the printing process.

The machine is also equipped with side safety bars.

 

INSERTING THE SCREEN

The screen, with a pneumatic locking system, can be inserted from both sides of the machine and does not require removing the squeegee/scrapper unit. All adjustments for registering the screen must be done from the operator side.  The Off-contact can be adjusted on the four corners of the screen holder.

 

CHECKS AND ADJUSTMENTS 

The machine is equipped with a modem that, if connected to a telephone line, allows many adjustments to be made from our headquarters.

Thanks to its simple construction, Speed-O-Mat, ensures quick set-up, allowing for automatic production, even of small batches.

All the most important functions are set and displayed on an adjustable touch screen panel on board the machine, from which all the functions are controlled, including:

 

·         Continuous adjustment of the lift-o-mat (progressive screen separation device)

·         Selection of registration type

·         Setting the number of cycles/hour
