High quality, precision automatic screen printing machine

Flat-bed, fully automatic, gripper transport screen printing machine of superior reliability and class of performance. Capable of extremely fast print rates while still offering the very highest in printing quality.
Designed to handle a great variety of substrates, both rigid and flexible, up to 5 mm thick.

Structure

Made from electro-welded hardened tubular steel for outstanding lifespan.

Loading and unloading system

The substrate can be fed by means of :
- a manual feeding table 
- a manual feeding table equipped with pre-registration device 
- an automatic feeder

The printed substrate, held by the gripper bar, is delivered onto a flat-bed conveyor, connected in-line with a drying/curing unit and with a stacker.

Registration system

Excellent sheet registration is ensured by an electronic control system. consisting of three sensors mounted on each lay stop (two front sensors and one side sensor working as puller/pusher). An optical registration system can be supplied upon request. The special “NO PRINT” device automatically skips the printing phase in case of substrate mis-registration.

The gripper bar

The substrate is conveyed onto the printing top by means of a set of gripper bars [FOTO SPEED-O-MAT RIFERIMENTO D1] mounted on closed loop chains .
The gripper bar clamps the substrate after its registration and holds it during the printing cycle, allowing the most accurate control of printing repeatability.
The gripper bars are pinned registered just before the substrate is clamped and throughout the printing cycle 

Printing top

Honey-comb structure with aluminium cover, featuring powered vacuum with pre-vacuum function. Blow back function can be supplied as option.

Printing haed and printing bridge

The printing bridge, driven by the main motor, slides along chrome shafts of our design by means of smooth running sleeves. It grants extremely even and vibration-free movements regardless of the working speed. The squeegee/scraper pressure is independently adjustable by means of lateral micrometric devices. In addition, models 4 and 6 feature a series of pneumatic pistons independently adjustable from the control panel granting a more uniform printing pressure . The adjustable squeegee angle provides for excellent printing quality.
The machine is equipped with safety bars for safe operation.

Screen loading

The screen, featuring pneumatic locking system , can be loaded from either sides of the machine with no need to remove the squeegee/scraper unit. All the frame registration adjustments are set from the control panel. The off contact is adjustable of the four corners of the screen.

Adjustments and controls

A swivelling control panel placed on the operator side allows the control of all the machine functions, such as :

- lift-o-mat screen peel adjustment
- choice of registration type
- adjustment of cycles/hour 


Manual feeding table with pre-registration device

Electromechanical device allowing manual substrate feeding. The sheet is pushed against a mechanical reference point by hand. The pre-registration device, working in synchronism with the machine, conveys the sheet into the gripper bar and against the two front lay stops. The side lay puller/pusher provides for sheet side alignment.
