Short squeegee, long-stroke electro-mechanically driven screen printing machine, designed for large size substrates.

Structure
 
Made from electro-welded hardened tubular steel.
 
 
Printing top
 
Made from a honey-comb structure with anodized aluminium cover, it features powered vacuum with pre-vacuum and blow back functions. The printing top is adjustable on three axes.
 

 

Printing head and printing bridge 

- Printing bridge driven by an AC motor with inverter
- High lift printing head, parallel to the printing top
- The squeegee movement, crosswise in relation to the operator side, is extremely uniform at any speed
- The squeegee/scraper pressure equalizer is adjusted by lateral micrometric devices with reference scales
- Squeegee angle adjustment
- The squeegee and the scraper can be removed with no need to adjust their pressure
- Pneumatic frame locking system
- The machine is equipped with a double safety system (pressure safety bar activated by micro switches and photocell barrier) preventing any foreign body from getting stuck in the machine when the printing head moves down

 

Adjustments and controls

All the functions of MAGNUM are governed by a PLC. All the adjustments are set from the front side of the machine for easy and quick operations.

 

- Infinitely adjustable lift-o-mat screen peel (special device allowing the progressive separation of the screen from the substrate), power controlled from the operator side
- Printing stroke adjustable by means of magnetic microswitches
- Infinitely adjustable printing and flooding speeds, independently controlled
- Two working cycles:
- single stroke
- jogging for set-up
